Why Choose Us?

Note from MONAH’s Director about our Award-Winning Gift Shop and Online Trading Post

Over the years, many of our visitors and our community have asked us to create an online gift shop that reflects their experience visiting MONAH.

Over a decade, our museum is still dedicated to providing an educational experience through our collection, exhibits, and programming that spotlights the artistry and diversity of the first people from all of the Americas. By creating our Trading Post, we wanted to complement MONAH’s story of cultural diversity.

MONAH recently had the honor of being voted one of the Top 30 gift and specialty shops in America by Tripadvisor and Number 1 in Arkansas. These awards could not have been accomplished without you. Gift shop sales make up a large portion of the funds that helps keep our museum FREE to the public and support indigenous artists.

What makes our gift shop a living candy store of color and artistry is our dedication to making it speak to all ages and be fun!

Heck, we shop here. Our staff never has to go far to find the perfect gift, and you don't have to either..no matter where you live with our online shop that is updated every week with one-of-a-kind Native crafted jewelry, pottery, author-signed books, textiles, and other joyful selections.

5% of all of our online sales are donated to Partnership With Native Americans. Please visit their website at www.pnwa.com to learn more about this great non-profit organization and how you can help.

Once again, our gratitude for your support. We hope you always find something you love and for someone you love.

"This museum housed a major and beautifully presented collection of Native American artifacts... Even the gift shop was far above expectations with its selection of books, authentic Native American pieces, and interesting children’s items."
